• All our pieces are handmade and hand painted. Some marks in the glaze are natural and expected, as is some crazing. This will not affect the use or durability of the piece over time.
• For regular use we suggest washing the pieces by hand and allowing them to air dry. Dishwasher use is not recommended.
• Not oven safe. Microwave is suggested only for brief reheating, not cooking.
• The base of jugs, mugs and vases may initially sweat. This is normal, and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by watermarks. If using a vase or jug to hold flowers, please change the water daily.
• For long-term storage, please ensure the pieces are completely dry before putting them away. In this case, we recommend storing pieces upside-down in a well-ventilated area.

Prices are based on weight and destination. Shipping fees are calculated automatically by weight. You will be able to choose and view your shipping method and handling fees at checkout before you complete your order. All customers will be provided with tracking information once your order has been dispatched. 

For the delivery we use GLS, UPS, Correos and InPost

Transit time is calculated considering exclusively business days. Weekends or holidays are not included in the calculation.

Please note that for all orders shipped to destinations outside of the European Union (including the United Kingdom), the following terms apply:

• Responsibility: These additional charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. The Portuguese Shop has no control over these fees, does not collect them, and cannot predict their amount.

• Variability: Whether or not a package is charged depends on local regulations, the total order value, and random customs inspections. A previous order without fees does not guarantee that future orders will be exempt.

• Refusal of Delivery: If a customer refuses to pay customs fees and the package is returned to us, any shipping costs or return penalties incurred will be deducted from the refund.
